Tour of Landon Ridge
reviewed on: 11/12/2021 by anonymousI loved Landon Ridge, this was actually my first choice. But the lady we were working with would not respond to any of my calls or texts so we had to go with another facility. She called after we had already gotten mom all settled in her new facility.
There are some issues.
reviewed on: 11/04/2014 by AnonymousThere are some issues. They are trying hard and most of them are friendly, but not always confident. It's clean, we don't have any concerns with the cleanliness. There is always a rotating staff. We had some real issues at first, we sat down with a couple of managers. They wear pendants here, and there have been multiple occasions where the pendant was pushed, and it took an inordinate amount of time to come and help. Some are better than others, I think there is a flaw in the system. The food is probably a five, nicely presented, and it's good. You have to pay what you have to pay, it's not a great value, and I have to pay for extra help with an outside agency. It presents itself very well, it's new and great looking. It's a great place, but they just got acquired and there are some issues to be worked out.
Positive Experience
reviewed on: 01/11/2017 by AnonymousAfter reviewing this and other facilities, I elected to move my Mother to the Isle at Kingwood. Though the facility is attractive, clean, and relatively new, the attitude of the staff and residents was the primary consideration in my choice. She has been there about two weeks and has adapted quickly and is enjoying every aspect of the facility.
Outstanding Care for dad
reviewed on: 06/21/2017 by AnonymousWe like the care of this community. The staff are very caring and let me know of any changes. The menu is good and the meals are very good. I like that he does like the activities with the other residents. The community is close to home so that we can still assist and caring for my father. We highly recommend the care at this community for other families and there loved ones.
Good care, with some issues
reviewed on: 01/07/2014 by Loved oneThis is a nice community, it's a very pretty place, and the staff are friendly and caring. One issue my loved one had a lot of complaints about was the assigned seating for meals, she'd rather be free to pick who she sits with, and the way it worked out for her initially was she ended up at a rather empty table. Not long after moving in a situation arose where my loved one needed to go to the hospital, and we are not pleased with the price we are having to pay to keep her room reserved while she is not there, but we really have no choice.
