Caring for our Mother in her final days.

reviewed on: 02/13/2017 by Thames Family

The facility was beautiful and well designed. Our Mother did not get to stay long but every amenity she needed was given to her and the family. Staff was exceptional and so compassionate from our initial meeting with Toni, our contract signing with Angie, the many conversations with Polly, sweet concern for all our questions by Brandy, and the loving care shown by Daryl and Gina and the Hospice personnel. I regret if I failed to name other caregivers because everyone we met could not have been more supportive. This experience was a very difficult time for the family but our Mother and her family were given the best care and respect anyone could provide.

Ann Marie was amazing. She was able to answer all our questions and address our concerns about the move for Mom. I believe the staff and facility will be perfect for Mom.

There are some issues.

There are some issues. They are trying hard and most of them are friendly, but not always confident. It's clean, we don't have any concerns with the cleanliness. There is always a rotating staff. We had some real issues at first, we sat down with a couple of managers. They wear pendants here, and there have been multiple occasions where the pendant was pushed, and it took an inordinate amount of time to come and help. Some are better than others, I think there is a flaw in the system. The food is probably a five, nicely presented, and it's good. You have to pay what you have to pay, it's not a great value, and I have to pay for extra help with an outside agency. It presents itself very well, it's new and great looking. It's a great place, but they just got acquired and there are some issues to be worked out.

Good care, with some issues

reviewed on: 01/07/2014 by Loved one

This is a nice community, it's a very pretty place, and the staff are friendly and caring. One issue my loved one had a lot of complaints about was the assigned seating for meals, she'd rather be free to pick who she sits with, and the way it worked out for her initially was she ended up at a rather empty table. Not long after moving in a situation arose where my loved one needed to go to the hospital, and we are not pleased with the price we are having to pay to keep her room reserved while she is not there, but we really have no choice.

Friendly, organized staff

We toured, and attended a short seminar, at this community, and I will say I was very impressed by what I saw here! The woman who gave the seminar, Polly, was very informative and had a lot of useful information to present. What I saw of the facility on the tour was also very nice looking, I've seen a few others in the area and this place really stood out! Overall they just seemed very friendly and well organized, and I would recommend them as being worth a look!
