Still adjusting...
reviewed on: 04/20/2017 by AnonymousEverything is going fine for my mother so far since her move into forest Ridge. It is still very early to give a good review. The staff has been very nice.
Very happy
reviewed on: 05/19/2015 by AnonymousMy loved ones live at the Forest Ridge. They haven't used the services yet but they have been very happy here. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. My overall rating of this property is 4 stars. I rate the cleanliness 4 stars. I rate the friendliness 4 stars. I rate the value 5 stars. The value was the best compared to others. I can't rate the care services or activities yet. It is not applicable. So far so good.
Good facility--a few lessons learned
reviewed on: 08/18/2015 by AnonymousWe had trouble getting the phone connected. AT&T was delayed by several days-but it turned out that Forrest Ridge was the cause of the non-connection. Would recommend that the phone wiring be checked ahead of time if moving a senior into this facility. There seems to be a disconnect in providing 'introductory assistance' to new residences. We were hoping that our Mom would have been guided by either a staff member or a current resident to help her find out the activities and amenities offered here. Maybe offering a DVD showing the facilities and locations within it would be helpful. The room is fine, clean and all appliances were working well. Would recommend having a microwave option for residents. The grounds are well kept and secure. Some of the residents apartments are quite a walk from the dining room and lobby. For people that have trouble or need assistance walking, would recommend the use of cane and walkers.
Great Activities
reviewed on: 11/11/2013 by Healthcare ProfessionalIt's wonderful. I have been there several times. The atmosphere is great. She has a physical handicap but she is in independent living, and she has her own apartment. There are a lot of activities like cards, Wii bowling, etc. There is a big spacey area that everyone can get together an do activities.
Everything Is Great
reviewed on: 07/25/2015 by AnonymousEverything is going great, my parents are very happy there. It is nice having the doctor there so they can see him and are not rushing out all the time. Also having the medication there, it is delivered so they are not leaving to go get that.
