Community Reviews
kleptomaniacs
reviewed on: 09/21/2015 by AnonymousAt The Wyngate Senior Living Community they do have one at least two elderly people that are kleptomaniacs. My mom will come back to her room and things will be missing. It actually almost turned physical. That is pretty concerning. I am not sure what they can do about that situation though really. It is something that needs to be resolved. My mom has only been there a month and I would like to be able to speak about how things are going again once she has been there longer.
My review of the Wyngate
reviewed on: 10/09/2020 by AnonymousWe chose The Wyngate because it is close to my house and close to the hospital. The room sizes here are more like a small college dorm room. My mom seems to be overly happy with the food here. They were not clear with the first billing cycle on the amount that it would be, you do pay the first 2 months. The best part about the community so far is the communication from staff. I would recommend.
Working With Community For Improvements
reviewed on: 09/19/2016 by AnonymousThe experience is pretty good but a few issues. It seems they are currently understaffed and the rooms are not getting cleaned, one person is doing it all. However, the staff are good and on top of things and taking pretty good care of my loved one. The meals are good and they are close to a hospital.
Moving Adjustment
reviewed on: 08/10/2016 by AnonymousI just moved into this community, and I hope that they can get additional help for maintenance to assist with getting things done if needed. The staff is helpful, but I am hoping that in time the there will be activities to participate in. I am sure that that this adjustment will take sometime for me to adjust to being in my new home.
My experience with Wyngate
reviewed on: 02/10/2021 by anonymousWe chose The Wyngate because of the location and it is by a hospital which is nice. Her room size is on the smaller side, but it is adequate for what she needs. Overall, I would recommend them.
