Best Decision I Made
reviewed on: 01/21/2017 by AnonymousMaking the decision to place my husband in memory care was the hardest decision of my life. Placing him at The Hampton was one of best decisions I have made. From day one, the staff, caregivers, and nurses all addressed him by his first name. He has been shown kindness and respect. The family atmosphere and friendly staff have helped my husband to feel welcomed and at home. The residents are encouraged to participate in the various activities and entertainment. Meals are nicely prepared and taste good. Residents' family members are welcomed at mealtimes to share this experience together. My husband enjoys our having this opportunity from time to time. Our physician recommended that my husband be in a residence where 24 hour nursing staff is available. This is another plus found at The Hampton. I would encourage anyone who is thinking of placing their loved one in memory care to talk with the staff, and take the tour of the residence. I think you will be pleased and assured of the care and respect your loved one will receive at The Hampton.
Appreciate for excellent care.
reviewed on: 09/19/2017 by TiltRather than a specific experience, I am writing to rave about the staff at this facility. I visit a number of times a week and I find interaction between caretaker, nurse and patient to be consistently kind, patient, gentle and caring. When I walk out the door, I know my husband will be cared for and treated well. I am grateful. In particular, I would like to rave about Tammy, Keeley, Sherry, Linda and Mona not only for doing their job but going far beyond what they "have" to do. When Tammy is at work, the entire atmosphere of the floor is happier. I know that both Tammy and Keeley care for each and every resident as if they were their own family. The Director of Nursing, Amber, is always available to listen and offer advice. She is an outstanding example of how to treat others the way you would like to be treated. I'm grateful!
Caring Support at The Hampton
reviewed on: 01/10/2017 by JoleenOur loved one felt at home immediately at The Hampton. She told me many times how wonderful the entire staff was to her. They made her feel special and took the extra time to address all of her needs and concerns. All the staff are really terrific in their dealings with the residents. They always take the time to speak to each person in a very positive way. I was particularly pleased that they make sure everyone is involved in their activities rather than staying closed up in their rooms. I would recommend The Hampton to anyone with memory care needs.
Thanks, Hampton Inn
reviewed on: 04/29/2015 by AnonymousWe are happy with my mother-in-law's care at the Hampton Inn. She enjoys the activities (especially singing), and is constantly commenting about "all the nice people there". When I am visiting she is often greeted by name by a staff member walking past us. We appreciate the willingness of the staff to work specifically w/ her needs to see she has the best of care and quality of life.
Selecting assissted living
reviewed on: 12/24/2016 by James AlsobrookMy mother chose Ashley Inn after a weekend of respite care. She will be there 3 years in April. We are both happy with her stay here. Everything is kept nice and clean, but it is the people who care for her that makes it special. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they really care for the residents. It made things easy for me that she wanted to be here, even though it was a big change for her. Amy was a great help in getting mom VA benefits that we did not know about. Also, Hampton Inn paid the application fee for VA benefits. All in all, I think we chose well and hope everything continues god for mom.
