My father's care
reviewed on: 07/25/2017 by AnonymousThis is a nice community and the staff are outstanding. My father said that the staff are very attentive. The menu is nice but needs small improvements. We like that the community is clean and they allow my father to have his dog with him. They are willing to helping my father when needed. We would recommend this community for the size of the rooms. I would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.
Our Tour Experience
reviewed on: 11/17/2021 by anonymousFairwinds Spokane felt like a grand hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was just way too big for our loved one's needs. The person who led our tour was really hospitable and nice though, and she took us and showed us around everywhere.
So Thankful My Parents Are Able To Call Fairwinds Home!
reviewed on: 05/15/2018 by Katie (and siblings)The first thing you notice when you walk into Fairwinds is the beautiful and modern decor and facilities, which is immaculately well cared for and maintained. The second is the equally beautiful atmosphere and personality of the community which radiates from residents, families, and staff alike. I cannot imagine a better home and second family for my parents to spend their "Golden Years" with. I am so grateful for everyone there who watches out and cares for my Mom and Dad as if they were their own parents. As a healthcare worker myself, I am continually impressed with the professionalism and training of the caregivers, and often take for granted the longevity of the core staff that is seen in all departments. My only complaint and concern is that there is no continuation of care beyond a very "lite" Assisted Living level, which in reality could lead to my parents requiring to move out of the home they love and away from their friends and the staff at Fairwinds, all because their care needs are too high... I hope it does not come to that, but it is a concern that crossess my sibling's and my mind from time to time. I know that not all people are able to afford Fairwinds for themselves or their loved ones, but if you are able to you will not find a better community.
Thank you, Fairwinds
reviewed on: 01/09/2014 by Peggy EI was very nervous how my 96 year old mom would respond when we moved her from her home of 27 years to Fairwinds. My fears have been replaced with delight. Mom is transitioning better than I hoped. I'm so pleased with the move. The folks at Fairwinds have gone out of their way to make mom's move as easy as possible and to make her feel welcome and at home.
Tour of Fairwinds
reviewed on: 10/18/2021 by anonymousThe gal who gave us the tour was friendly and helpful. From what I saw, it looked to be a very nice facility. I was not able to try the food, but it looked good and seems to be a fancier menu than some others we saw. The only reason we did not choose them was because they did not have the continuous care that we were looking for.
