My Review of The Willows at Meadow Branch
reviewed on: 09/23/2021 by AnonymousThey didn't wear masks during the tour, and has railroad tracks near the community.
Understaffed
reviewed on: 08/28/2015 by AnonymousI just think that they need more staffing. Pretty much they have two people looking over eighteen residents, and I think that is expecting too much of the staff. They just need to spend more time with the residents.
Great quality of care!
reviewed on: 03/01/2017 by AnonymousThis community is really nice and so are the staff. i also like that the residents are more on my mother in laws level. She would be able to have people to sit and talk with at meals. I also like that they have a lot of activities. I saw that they were certified.
The Willows--could be better.
reviewed on: 11/10/2018 by Son-of-a-residentThe Willows facility is clean and well maintained. The in-house physical therapist and physician are good. The monthly costs are relatively low, which may explain the negative attributes. The facility is understaffed for dining and resident care services. The food served is as likely to be bad as good.
Home in Winchester, VA
reviewed on: 04/13/2016 by SandyHaving visited several different communities in the area, I felt this was the best fit for my family member. It does not look like a facility. The staff do not wear uniforms. Instead, they wear regular business outfits with name tags. Everyone my family member and I have come in contact with has been extremely personable, professional and caring. The home is extremely clean with no "facility" odor. Pets are allowed and the food is quite good with a nicely varied menu. It's simply a wonderful place and I have piece of mind knowing my family member has assistance whenever needed.
