Really great!
reviewed on: 03/23/2017 by AnonymousThe place was wonderful and the staff was great as well. The facility was very clean and looked very nice and not outdated or ran down. The people were helpful and nice to us. I like that they offered a lot of activities for the residents to stay busy.
So far so good
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Ron RaetzA little tricky since we can't get inside do to covid. My Mom likes it better than the facility in Rochester NY that she moved from which was a similar class and price. She likes the people better. My siblings that live in Rochester are impressed with the better service that she gets here. People here seem to care more. I find the people friendly and anxious to help. My complaints: 1) They arn't great at communicating. It's really hard to get a handle on the changing covid restrictions. Restrictions change and we get no or confusing updates. Hard to know who to talk to about what and hard to get in touch with them. 2) Food. Mom's not impressed. But she wasn't impressed in Rochester either. Mom was a great cook and misses her quality. So it's probably about par but no better.

Lots of things to do!
reviewed on: 10/13/2021 by AmyThe Barrington at Hioaks always has such an eventful activity calendar, there is no time to be bored because there is always something to do! I really like their university classes that they have, it allows people to continue learning no matter their age! They have all kinds of cool partnerships with different museums and colleges!
Mom really likes it here
reviewed on: 09/08/2021 by Joseph DMom really likes it here which of course mean I like it too. She loves all the activities they do daily, each of them are different and cater to a lot of different likes so everyone is entertained. At first she was kind of hesitant in coming to a retirement community but now she is so happy that she moved . They have a beauty salon where you can also get your nails done, they are also adding a massage room to the salon! (I’m jealous) They just put in new dining room furniture that really makes the room so much more classy, the chairs are comfortable and I love the booth they have against one of the walls, really feels like you’re eating in a restaurant!
