My Tour Experience
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by KennethThis was my second tour in the selection process, and a virtual tour as well. At this point I was realizing that the communities were actually quite similar, and it was going to come down to small little differences that were a matter of preference. The rooms here were similar to the previous place I toured. The biggest difference was I didn’t like Morningside's dining room as much. It just looked plain. That was it. The people that I talked to were very nice. They covered everything they could in the virtual tour. I couldn’t imagine anything they could have done better in that virtual scenario. You obviously can’t get as much without being there, but they did a good job with the virtual tour.
A good choice for our family
reviewed on: 09/07/2021 by anonymousThe staff members have been very good to our family so far, and after touring three other communities we liked the size and layout of these apartments the best. Also they seemed to of had everything our loved one was going to need at an affordable and reasonable price.
my experience
reviewed on: 05/18/2021 by JCCommunication could be better between the staff and our family. I seemed to get different answers from different staff members and they are not always on the same page. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The value is good and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
Would recommend this community
reviewed on: 09/17/2020 by Mary WhiteBefore COVID this place was a five out of five stars, now during COVID i would say it would be about a three due to the lack of communication. The staff has been as cooperative as they can be, but the communication could be better, sometimes we do not get direct answers to our questions. However we are very confident in the care our loved one is receiving. The staff is friendly and this community is very cost friendly. The activities director is great, but as far as overall activities they are lacking in diversity. Our loved one likes the food. Every room we have seen has been very nice, she has a small kitchenette in her room and a court yard view. In fact, all the rooms on the first floor surround the court yard, so they all have a great view.
Seems Decent
reviewed on: 11/16/2021 by anonymousThey have changed ownership, and everything has been a little messy since then. Other than that it's been okay. I would urge families to wait to move loved ones in until after things have settled down with the change in ownership. And then it's always a good idea to keep in close contact with the management and staff there to make sure that things that need to be addressed get addressed. The overall building is quite nice and decorated well. They have a nice library. They offer pretty standard activities like bingo, trivia, movies. I think they could do more to encourage the residents to attend them, or to find out what the residents want to do that hey would like to participate in.
