Community Reviews
My families experience
reviewed on: 05/25/2021 by anonymousThe community is a little older but still pretty clean, the nursing staff is extremely friendly but the administrative staff are not so friendly. The care services are good, not excellent because we have had a few small issues that could of been a little more preventative. However, the nurses are fully staffing plenty of people on board which made us feel comfortable. Our loved one is not crazy about the food, but they will make exceptions and be accommodating and make her something else to eat. The activities are back on and wide open. During covid the activity directors would come to their rooms and work with them individually, now everyone is able to be together again.
Good Care for Alzheimer
reviewed on: 05/11/2017 by AnonymousMy mom is doing fine at this community. She is getting the care she needs for her Alzheimer. The staff are the best thing I like. I picked the community because they were the closest to me. I wanted my mom in Chesapeake.
Best Assisted Living in Chesapeake Two Years Running
reviewed on: 06/19/2013 by Satisfied CustomerWe chose this community for my father because it was recommended by a friend and they have received the Best Assisted Living Award in the Chesapeake area two years running. The only downside is that the staff does not take time out, but family and friends can take them out when they come and visit. The community is very small and gives it a more home like feeling. He was in a rehab before we moved him here and we are much happier now. The price of this community is very good for what they offer. We are very happy with the choice that we made and would recommend this community.
A Great Choice
reviewed on: 06/07/2019 by HarperBunnyOur loved one had a bad experience at a facility she was previously in. So we have been particularly observant since we moved her to Greenfield. To their credit the staff has been very kind and do their jobs well. She is a different person since moving. She is quite content and is making friends there. They specialize in memory care/Alzheimer's dementia, which can be very challenging. We can rest easier knowing she is being properly taken care of.
Amazing Staff!!
reviewed on: 11/29/2016 by AnonymousIn the beginning, we had a small problem with medications. My father would have to ask to get his pain medication and he wouldn't always remember to do so. Once I brought up the problem, though, they were quick to fix it. The staff is very nice and helpful, the lady in the cafeteria is amazing. My father doesn't like powder creamer, and that's all they have there so I bought him the individual liquid ones, and she makes sure he has his 2 creamers with his morning coffee every day.
