Community Reviews

just fabulous

reviewed on: 09/10/2015 by Anonymous

Cedar Hills Continuing Care Community is just fabulous. My mother has Alzheimer's and she has broken out a few times. They didn't have alarms on the windows at first but they quickly got them after that. The staff there really do what they need to do to improve themselves. It is a newer thing to have an Alzheimer's exclusive unit at this facility. Kathy that works there is right off the charts excellent. The staff really find different way to help mom. They include the family. They have family picnics free of charge to get everyone together. The activities they offer are excellent. The staff really work hard to engage mom. They have just been fabulous. The staff are always trying to learn more about her. They wanted us to bring pictures in to make a memory book with her. They have a white board that keeps track of visitors and things going on so she can reference it without getting frustrated. The staff let her set the table and keep busy which she really enjoys. This facility just couldn't get any better.

We love this place!

What a nice place. Everyone is so friendly and knows my Mom by name. There are lots of activities and the food is great! We are so lucky to have found this place!

very friendly

Most of the staff are very friendly at Cedar Hills Continuing Care Community. The staff really work with us. This facility is pretty pricey but seems to be on par with other places. The staff needs to be a little more persistent and follow through with residents. For instance if someone doesn't want to drink water they don't make them drink it even though the person really needs to. The activities are limited here. They work really hard communicating with the family and I really appreciate that.

Thankful to have found this place!

I moved my 81-year-old mother here from out of state recently and everyone has been amazing. The building is brand new and beautiful, the staff is responsive and caring, and she is really happy - something I never expected so quickly. She's making friends, eating well, getting the medical attention she needs, and most of all, participating in activities again! I am so thankful to have found this wonderful home for my Mom.
