Feels like home!
reviewed on: 10/01/2019 by AnonymousMy first experience with Garden Estates was with my mother-in-law in 2006-2009. Loved it then, and am now loving it again, since my sister moved there in March of 2018. Hope they're still going strong when it's my turn to live "a life of leisure!" The facility and amenities are amazing, but it's the staff that makes Garden Estates "home." Friendly, caring, and easy to talk to and work with - these words just begin to describe our experience! My sister has made so many new friends, which has been wonderful, since she had to leave her home and friends to move to Temple. Through her, I've made new friends, too! Keep up the good work, Garden Estates!!
Very Grateful!!
reviewed on: 09/30/2019 by The Bulls FamilyRecently, we moved our Dad of 90 & Stepmother of 91 years into Garden Estates community. From our first visit, and throughout the move-in process, the staff was very professional. They provided our family with all the needed information which eased our minds about the type of care that our parents would be receiving. This is very important to our family since all of us do not live locally. During two recent health issues with our Dad, one of which was life-threatening, our family was alerted immediately by the caring, attentive & watchful eye of the entire staff. The peace of mind that we have received from the front desk, girls in the med room & the caregivers has been priceless. If we have any questions or concerns, the staff is always eager to help, without hesitation. Garden Estates has become an extended part of our family and we are so very grateful. While visiting & dining we have had the pleasure of meeting many of the residents...what a wonderful, caring and family-oriented group. We love it! If you want your loved ones in a safe, worry-free community and receive the attention they deserve…this is the place. We firmly believe our family made the right decision!!!

reviewed on: 09/06/2013 by JohnI think Garden Estates has a great group of people over there, I do think the money per square foot is a lot. You're going to get more at the Meridian than Garden Estates. We thought it was extremely clean and the food was good but it doesn't have the same selection as meridian.
I am satisfied with things at this community.
reviewed on: 03/16/2017 by AnonymousSo far dad seems to be doing well at Garden Estates. The staff are caring and taking good care of him. He seems to like the food and they use fresh fruits and vegetables from a local market. Dad is making friends. The community appears to be clean. They post daily activities and they do have an exercise class, however I feel the activities are geared more towards the independent living residents. I would recommend this community at this time.
My Dad Feels is Happy and Independent
reviewed on: 11/13/2013 by DaughterThey are wonderful. We haven't have any problems. My dad is a lot happier there. Every one is very nice. He likes that they don't treat like he is five years old and he really feels independent. My dad is a big complainer and the only thing that he complains about is the portion of his food. I really like Vicky and Judy, the women that run the front office. There aren't as many activities, which is a draw back. I wish they did more because it would prevent my dad from smoking so many cigarettes! Judy is the best greeter, if anyone is going to go and look they should ask for Judy. I still hug her every time I go and see my dad. They put him on the resident council committee so that he can feel like he has a say in what happens.
