Great Place!
reviewed on: 06/25/2018 by Sandra SikesMy mother has lived at Cimarron Place for 8 months. They worked with mother so the cost of living here was something she could afford for her level of care. My sisters and I liked the small and personal size of this facility so mother would not be afraid of getting lost. We wanted her to feel confident to get out of her room and find her way around. I appreciate the staff and how they check on her, I like all the activities and the great meals they provide. Mother always says the staff here are so friendly and kind to her. She also enjoys visiting with the other residents too. I hope mother will be able to stay here a long time.
Friendly, accommodating care staff
reviewed on: 06/05/2015 by AnonymousMy loved one was only here a short time, but overall I thought they did an excellent job at Cimarron Place! The staff are friendly, and very very accommodating. My loved one has memory issues and ended up needing more care than they provide here, but they really tried their hardest to make it a good fit for her, which I really appreciated even if it did not end up working out!
Our thoughts on Cimarron Place after first four months.
reviewed on: 09/29/2021 by anonymousWhat we have seen so far is the rooms themselves are a little bit dated. I performed some small repairs myself in my loved one's room. The repairs that we had asked of maintenance had been done in a substandard manner. So we've had little issues like that. But I understand that their focus is not necessarily on the facility, although I think they would have fewer problems in the long run if that were the case. At the same time, the general, overall condition of the place seems very good. They keep things very clean. She seems to like the food, although she wishes they had a little more variety at times. I think they're supposed to have Cokes and snacks and things out in the afternoons, but they're not doing that right now because of Covid. Also because of Covid, they're not running the usual schedule of activities. And I understand that's outside of their hands. We felt that they needed to be more clear about the annual increase. It's based on Cimarron's calendar, not how long your loved one has been there. So we ended up having a significant increase after only about two months. But the staff have been very friendly. I still give them a superior rating, especially compared to other places we checked out. Overall we're very happy. And more importantly, our loved one is very happy.
Good Experience, but Not the Right Fit For Us
reviewed on: 05/18/2017 by AnonymousWe had a pretty nice tour of this community. Everyone was kind to my family, and myself. The community looked nice, and everything was well-kept. The staff was kind, and friendly. It was a good experience, but we didn't feel this was the community for my mother.
