Community Reviews

They are doing a good job.

They are doing a good job. They are very nice. I like that they have the dementia residents on one wing and the Alzheimer's residents on the other. It works out well since one group happens to be more lively than the other.

An Outstanding Memory Care Center You Should Consider

reviewed on: 08/14/2015 by Mrs Dottie Morgan

Aria Memory Care has become a wise choice to care for my husband in his stressful bout with advanced Dementia and related illnesses. Since we were moving him from out of state, there was no time to visit or even meet the staff of Aria, only we had promising phone calls which made us trust that we were doing the right thing for him. The staff at Aria are all knowledgeable and most accommodating to their patients. I am sure my husband has been most trying at times and occasionally a bit out of hand but all these stressful issues seem to be resolved for now. It is the very nature of Dementia to be critical and over demanding but they all try to keep the peace among the residents like my husband who I am sure tries their patience no end. He is a person who needs to be kept very busy and we note that he is allowed to help out in the patio area garden which is wonderful. He also helps the Maintenance gentleman when he can and all we can say is that makes him feel needed and a bit important. My biggest concern is the aggression in my husband can cause friction between him and others there on occasion so we hope his medications are monitored maybe more frequently than the norm to ensure he tones it down a bit and tries getting along more with others. We deeply appreciate everything the outstanding staff is doing to help him settle in better everyday and we highly recommend this lovely facility to anyone having loved ones who are suffering from Dementia/Alzeimer's and mental problems so prevalent in the world today. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you today and everyday at the Aria. God Bless all of You! Mrs. Dottie Morgan

Love, love, love this community!

Love, love, love this community! I moved my mom in about a mouth ago and could not be happier with the care she is receiving. The day I toured the caregivers were in the middle of dementia training on redirection and de-escalation techniques, I was very happy to see staff and management really focused on using things other then medication to help manage some of the behaviors that go along with dementia. Beth the director was amazing the knowledge and advice she gave me in the beginning along with the continued support from all the staff has been amazing! Mom is not only participating in activities but she loves the food, care staff and has made some friends. It is such a relief when I visit everyday to see her happy and well taken care of. Ceri the nurse always has her door open and provides me updates on any changes in my mom's medications and overall wellness, she even took the time to email me in the beginning when I was having a hard time with the transition of not having mom at home anymore. Overall I would say this place was a God send.

Very nice rooms with wonderful technical amenities

I toured this place and almost moved my Mom in. I liked them a lot and thought the business was run very well. The rooms were very nice with vaulted ceilings and you could even set up a music player so music played throughout. The biggest drawback, however, was that the location was a little odd. It’s in an area where there isn’t a lot of landscaping and it doesn’t have a lot of walking paths, which is something I really wanted for my Mom. There is a small patio in the back, though. The person that gave me the tour was great and was able to answer any questions I had. I also was able to meet the head nurse and I liked him a lot. I really liked everything about the community from what I had read and briefly seen, but ultimately had to decide against it.

Very satisfied
