Community Reviews
Good Community and Great Community
reviewed on: 07/27/2021 by CathyThe Director of the Cove is phenonmal. The Cove offer some activities for the memory care residents; however, the assisted living area has more activities to offer. The staff know who my loved one is and keep in contact with the family with any concerns. It is a good value for money.
A Blessing!
reviewed on: 03/02/2015 by Russ WatkinsFrom our first phone call for information to our first and subsequent visits we were were always impressed by all the staff we have interacted with. They have embraced my Mom and have treated her with dignity and respect and she is transitioning quite well into the Harbor Chase family. Kudo's to Kathleen and her dedicated and caring staff. This is a wonderful facility!
Comfort and care
reviewed on: 03/30/2017 by AnonymousWe toured this community. It is a large community. The staff is very nice. The community is clean and we liked the environment. The meals are very good. This is a high-cost community for care. She did not like the single room environment of this community for a well-organized community.
Enjoyable Activities!!
reviewed on: 10/07/2016 by AnonymousMy loved one has really enjoyed all of the activities this community provides. There is a variety of them throughout the week and it allows my mom to interact with the other residents. The staff is very attentive and always making sure that that my mom is comfortable and feels safe.
HarborChase considers family values and family involvement
reviewed on: 04/05/2021 by AndrewWe had a previous family member here. And we came to the same conclusion that his was a good place for our loved ones. It seems to have a good family atmosphere. I've only interacted with administrative staff. I haven't talked with any of nurses or anything. The upper staff are very friendly and willing to listen to help make things better and deal with any complaints. They seem to have a good system for the different levels of care. And of course, you get the help that you allow. I think they have been fair in wanting to help, but my loved one has been pushing them away a bit. The food has been pretty good. We got to try the salmon one day, and it was excellent. My loved ones love the breakfast but tell me the other things are not as good. That could be in part because he forgets to place his order and ask for the things he wants. They offer plenty of activities, and my loved ones enjoy exercises, devotions, and bingo. One of the reasons we chose this community was the price and the value, and also the open air visitations. We feel like there's less paranoia regarding the pandemic, which we think is a good thing. We found that they maintained a sense of community even during the pandemic, which was not the case in other places we looked.
