Community Reviews
Something always going on
reviewed on: 07/18/2013 by VirginiaYou really have to keep up with the calendar because they have something going on everyday. They have worship services Sundays and Wednesdays. The bus takes them anywhere they want to go within the Hillsboro area like shopping and appointments. The do a lot of outreach programs with the local schools. They have optometrist, massage therapist and other types of students come for the university. I would really like to applaud the staff for their politeness, patience, friendliness and the way they are able to accommodate for the residents.
A good place to take a look at
reviewed on: 05/16/2017 by AnonymousThis is a clean community and I have visited it to play bean bag baseball. The people seemed nice and I loved their fireplace. The residents I met there seem to like living here. I would suggest taking a look at it.
Not the right shower
reviewed on: 09/15/2017 by AnonymousCornell Estates was a nice and clean community. It looked they had a lot of activities to offer the residents. The staff showed us a room that would be available for my loved one. I didn't care for the set-up in the bathroom where it had a standard stall shower and it was in the assisted living unit. We chose another community that was a better fit for our loved one.
Very friendly people, rooms were small
reviewed on: 08/03/2015 by AnonymousI toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met were very very friendly! However, the rooms here were very small, and I just don't think my loved one could have been comfortable here.
My review of Cornell Estates
reviewed on: 01/29/2021 by anonymousWe chose Cornell Estates at the time because we liked the staff. The staff members here are very friendly and open to help. It is also very close to our house so we could visit often. We did take a virtual tour of the facility and my mom is in a studio apartment, there seems to be plenty of space for one person. I would recommend to others looking.
