My Home-The Walford On The Park
reviewed on: 03/17/2016 by Jack PhillipsGrowing up & spending my whole life in the community of Copper Cliff, I walked daily to get my mail & pick up my newspaper. So when it came time for me to move into a retirement home, I chose The Walford on the Park. I was still able to walk to get my mail and newspaper and meet and socialize with friends in the town. Once the warm weather arrived, I enjoyed sitting outside on the swing where friends would stop by and chat. I have enjoyed the home cooked meals and also enjoyed socializing with other residents playing bingo and attending different social functions. I was very independent when I first moved into the Walford but in the past six months my health has declined and I have had to rely on more care from staff at the Walford along with staff from we-care. My care has been excellent and the staff have treated me very well.
