We've Had Some Issues With The Care
reviewed on: 08/12/2013 by LizBased on what we've experienced so far, I'll be nice and give them 3. The cost is great and they seem to have a lot of activities but we've been having some issues with the care. Number one, the medication. They stated that they were giving my father-in-law his medication and he said he wasn't. My brother-in-law went in there and found that his presciptions has not been filled by Emeritus. When we asked them about it, no one could give us an answer. Also my father-in-law takes ensure and he's supposed to take it 3 times a day and he said he was only getting one. I'm not pleased with them on that. I have to take a trip from Texas to find out what's going on. We've stopped doing the ensure through them and we're tying to make unannounced visits. We're not ready to move him but the radar is up. The food is great. My in-laws have actually gained weight which is great. I'm really pleased with that.
A place to thrive
reviewed on: 12/28/2020 by Dawn JThis are has just been redone, there are a lot of big windows which brings in a lot of nice light, bright natural lighting. There is a park outside where they can walk around. The community has an area where the residents can come and gather, our loved one is not just surviving he is thriving and he seems to enjoys the meals and dining service.
The staff were good about helping to get my parents comfortable in their new community!

Dad is in the memory care unit and mom is in independent living. She is able to see him daily. Mom enjoys going on some outings and participating in some activities. I would recommend this community.

She helped us find an assisted living home for my in-laws (Emeritus at Quail Creek) and followed up to see how we were doing. She is GREAT! Thank you so much for all of your help. My parents liked living at Brookdale Quail Creek!!
