Promenade at Tuxedo is OUR place for mom
reviewed on: 12/12/2013 by A. PaternoWhen it was time for my mother-in-law to move into assisted living, our family began by contacting aplaceformom.com. There we were provided with a list of pre-qualified facilities to visit, before making our final choice. Promenade at Tuxedo Place was not only the cleanest, brightest, and friendliest place we saw, but it had a 'large house' feel that would be easiest for my mother-in-law's transition from her home to a residential community. The residents we saw were all engaged and happy in multiple daily activities, and the staff showed very genuine compassion and pleasure at engaging the seniors. After my mother-in-law moved in, her mood brightened, and we saw a big increase in her physical and mental well-being.

They showed me all around the community, and everything looked. They were also informative and answered my questions. It was a nice tour, and this is a pleasant community.
Close to Home
reviewed on: 06/26/2013 by CustomerWe chose the Promenade at Tuxedo Place because it was the best fit for our situation. It is located very close to home so it allows us to be nearby. Everything my mother needed is here. We are very happy with the choice we made and would recommend it.

The community looked wonderful, everything was very well-kept. The staff I came across was kind and courteous. This is a nice community, but I found one that was a closer for to travel too.
Highly recommend The Promenade at Tuxedo Place

While both were instrumental in providing me with support & information throughout the application & placement process what struck me most was the warmth, openness, compassion & sense of community Marion & Sadije imparted. As if welcoming a new family member to their homes all the staff helped my father transition from a stressful life altering move to a caring, friendly & nurturing environment he now calls "home". My father has only been there one month but has thrived & enjoys each day with endless activities & the encouragement & support of all the staff. The facility itself reminds one of a cross between a B&B and a warm inviting inn that is well maintained with nicely appointed rooms & common areas and a "cozy" feel. Making this decision for and with a parent can be exhausting, confusing, emotional and time consuming. Thank you Sadije & Marion for being my lifeline throughout it all and for making dad feel "part of the family"! I highly recommend The Promenade at Tuxedo Place!
