My new home
reviewed on: 03/16/2019 by Rosary RickMy name is Rosary Rick. I am resident at The Bristals at Lake Grove, NY. I just celebrated my third month here (March 2nd). It was an adjustment after selling my home, where I lived for 53 years. I have a lovely room and enjoy all of the activities: Bingo, exercise, movies, etc. They always celebrate holidays with music and refreshments. I have made friends here. The whole staff is very accommodating . It is like living at a five star hotel.

I haven't met one person I haven't liked. It's better value than Sunrise. Not saying Sunrise isn't nice but they were charging more. They nurture him. Honestly, it's amazing. they call me for every little thing. They called me to tell me he didn't have razors and they got him some. They keep me very updated. I would recommend.

Everyone at the facility that I’ve interacted with has been great . moving in the middle of Covid was challenging but the high level of communication and transparency of the staff to the family has been remarkable. My dad is very happy here and shares how pleased he is with his interaction with those caring for him. Choosing an assisted living facility is difficult I am grateful we found the Bristal at Lake Grove. I highly, highly recommend.

She enjoys her beautiful, spacious apartment. She loves the food! I am always very happy when I am there to see that she is doing so well and is so happy. The staff is very friendly all the time.
