A look @ Heritage Village
reviewed on: 02/27/2014 by Cary D.We stopped in at the heritage Village and found the community was nice but it did not fit what my mom was looking for. My mom has a scooter that she needs to get around and we felt there were no fire exits for emergency for her to get out in time also we felt there was not enough staff to help she such a occurence was to happen. We also found that the community was a little bite more what we were looking for spend.
Good, safe, sound environment
reviewed on: 01/15/2020 by Carol Sue CamarilloMy 90 y/o sister moved in the week before Thanksgiving, so she hasn't been there long. She seems to be doing much better than she was before moving in to Heritage. They make sure she takes her meds properly, and the meals are good and balanced--something she wasn't getting before. She likes the staff & they are so kind to her. The interaction with others has been good for her. It may not be as fancy or roomy as soon of the other places, but many of the frills seen in other assisted living homes would not be of use to her. So far so good. The family is relived to have her in a safe, sound environment.
A little out dated
reviewed on: 11/09/2016 by AnonymousWhen I walked in this facility I was not impressed at all. It was dark and dreary. The residents were all huddled up in the corner looking scared. I felt like they were trying to tell me not to go there. The staff did show us around, but it just was not the place for me.
A Caring Community for Your Parents
reviewed on: 11/16/2020 by DiannaThey have an onsite doctor, so the resident doesn't have to leave. The community is very friendly. They have meals and you call ahead and eat with your loved one, prior to COVID. The staff makes sure my loved one gets to their room. There is a cell phone in my loved one's room to call us anytime they want. The community doesn't take this away from my loved one. There is a code for family members that come often, they give you a code to get in to see your loved one. The community calls me about once and month, and always has something positive to say about my loved one. Heritage Village gives my loved one an activity to assist other residents to get to dinner and other activities. My loved one says they love it here. The community called and said can we get a fridge for their room, since they weren't going on field trips which the money would've been used for on these outings.
