Community Reviews
A good community!
reviewed on: 12/01/2016 by AnonymousThis is a nice small community inside of a 55 and older housing development. It does not feel like an assisted living community. There is a walking path around the community. The staff are friendly. They offer daily activities and the food is good. The community is clean and I would recommend it.
The Avida program is creative, unfailingly kind, and cheerful
reviewed on: 06/03/2020 by Laurie VThe community is always clean. The staff is great and they greet you at the door when you visit. Whenever I see them interacting with residents, no matter what time, they are all really patient and kind with everyone. My mother doesn't need a ton of care, however what I have seen is good. They help the residents eat if needed, they keep them entertained, and they do the laundry. Absolutely a good value for the level of care. Especially compared to other more expensive communities in the area, we feel Bayberry has been great. They also locked down very early during the Covid-19 pandemic and have done a great job protecting the residents and staff.
Knowledgeable administration!!
reviewed on: 10/28/2016 by AnonymousThe administration was very knowledgeable during our tour and gave my loved one and I lots of useful information. They showed us all of the great amenities and features this community had to offer and did a great job at making us feel welcomed into there facility.
Exceptional
reviewed on: 06/03/2020 by Diane DThere isn't anything about Bayberry that isn't great. The entire staff is outstanding. It was a really tough transition for my mother to move in here and they were exceptional with handling that situation. The only thing is that they are a bit pricey, however during the whole Covid-19 pandemic, they have been phenomenal and they are clearly doing everything they can to protect the residents. Previous to this, everything was great, then once the pandemic hit, we really got to see the level of care that they are willing to go to help the residents. We would highly recommend them!
In same class as Sunrise, but just no...
reviewed on: 12/16/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerIn same class as Sunrise, but just not as together. Not very well designed. On the other hand, residents well-groomed and carefully dressed; more activities than Sunrise. Residents were having a lovely singalong with a pianist when was there, so I didn't see many interactions. Brenda did tell me that they would not make my mother leave even if she ran out of money after 4.8 years, which she would. They would "find a way" to keep her until the end of her life. I haven't heard this before and need to find out if it is unique.
