Very Nice for Independent Living
reviewed on: 09/09/2013 by Ella from PennsylvaniaWe liked the Atriums very much except that it's independent living. The second floor is assisted living but mom had bypassed that - they weren't able to care for her at the level she needed. But we liked them very much.
love the Atriums
reviewed on: 03/23/2015 by KPI Love the Atriums. My Dad passed and Mom wasn't driving. She was lonely and depressed. She still wanted her own apartment, but was losing weight. After 2.5 months, she is doing great. She has made friends, gained 5 pounds. Her memory is better and she is off her anti-depressant. Her meds are delivered, activities and meals all provided. I love Lucille the owner , she herself is 84. Highly recommend . It has given me peace of mind.
Wasn't Impressed
reviewed on: 11/29/2017 by AnonymousI toured this community and Amber was very nice and knowledgeable. But I didn't like it it was really old and dirty to me. It needs updating and some TLC. The apartments were small and had no stove in them. It reminded me of an old folks home.
The Staff Is Just Fine
reviewed on: 08/22/2015 by AnonymousI can not think of anything that The Atrium at Overland Park can improve. Everything the staff has done for us so far has been just fine. My loved one is in independent living, so they offer some services like coming in and cleaning once a week and washing the linens and so forth, but I guess we just expected a little more in that area.
Their Dark Rooms
reviewed on: 10/11/2016 by AnonymousThe tour went well. The community is very clean and nice. The actually apartments were set up like a hotel. From the living room view there is no outside view and it seems dark. The apartment did not have any area for storage.
