Community Reviews
Nice place, overall
reviewed on: 07/23/2014 by Loved oneOverall we've been very pleased with how things have gone with Sterling House. It's a nice looking, clean, well kept community. They also do a great job the food! The meals are well balanced, and they have a lot of variety. For the most part the staff do an excellent job. The staff that work one on one with the patients do a tremendous job, they really seem to go out of their way to do little things for the residents to help them settle in. We did have an issue with one staff member being very unprofessional and rude to a family member who was visiting.
Brookdale
reviewed on: 02/18/2019 by Jennifer R CauseyThey tend to wait for residents to express needs outside the facility such as shopping. In the first two months no outside excursions were proactively offered.
Very Pleased with This Community
reviewed on: 02/17/2017 by AnonymousEverything is working out very well for my grandmother with her move to this community. I'am very comfortable with her move her. She is safe, and in good hands. They have a great staff, they have been very friendly. They helped her get adjusted to the community. She is doing great, and all is well. This is a community I would recommend, it has worked out well for us.
Intimate size
reviewed on: 05/09/2015 by AnonymousElder care is very much a personal choice. Our family chose Sterling house primarily due to the small intimate size of the facility. Many larger facilities rotate their staff to different wings/shifts. Stability of the staff to resident is important to Dad. Every person we spoke to gave high ratings to Sterling House.
Nice place!
reviewed on: 12/01/2016 by AnonymousEverything is going well with mom. She is getting involved with some of the activities. It just seems like they don't have enough staff for the community. Maybe that is how most of them are though.
