Time and Understanding
reviewed on: 09/09/2019 by fdsimmons1My mother has resided in SV for 5 years. I was initially surprised by the cost...further comparison revealed they are more than reasonably priced. For the most, service and employees are good. Sometimes the aides to patients ratio is not sufficient...however, they manage the situation. The food is not fine dining... basically nutritional for the residents. There is consistent turnover in aides...But, that is the nature of the nurse assistant career field...they move based on pay, facility etc...So, this is not unusual. My recommendation to anyone placing a love one in ANY assisted facility..."Continue to make it your responsibility...for their care and well being...Don't put all the responsibility on the facility or employees." In layman terms...don't just stick them in there...and forget about them!!!
Nice Community But Didn't Meet My Loved One's Needs
reviewed on: 12/09/2020 by SandraWe were a little frustrated due to my loved one's physical therapy being delayed in starting to assist them. The activities weren't enough for my loved one. My loved one was more functioning than other residents in the community. There was one memory care resident who would come consistently who would come into my loved one's bed, and pester them consistently. This was in the assisted one area. The community had individual rooms for the residents. During us leaving; the community worked with us in getting money back for the different community fees associated with my loved one's care.
Needs More Workers and Better Food
reviewed on: 08/31/2015 by AnonymousMy loved one was only there for about a week, so there isn't much to review it on. They probably needed more workers and if I could compare it to other places, I would say they came up a little short on the food.
