Community Reviews
Extremely Caring Staff
reviewed on: 08/03/2017 by Robert HorvathIt's very rare to find such caring people in an environment such as a assisted living place but we definitely found them. My aunt had taken a fall out of bed and since she has been in the hospital and rehab some of the staff has gone to visit her now that is genuine affection. The staff is wonderful here it gives me such peace of mind to know my aunt is being taken care of and she has said she can't wait to get back there to all her friends and the staff. She was having a wonderful time doing the activities and enjoying the food there. The community is extremely clean and well maintained. The location can't be any more perfect she is only a few minute drive from us.
I just think they could get some more...
reviewed on: 10/14/2013 by NieceI just think they could get some more staff in the dining room in the evenings because my aunt complains that it takes a little longer for them to get fed. I like it if she does and she says she's really happy there. It is difficult for her to participate in the activities but she does enjoy watching other people do them.

reviewed on: 11/10/2020 by Norma WeissDuring the pandemic the staff has gone out of their way to meet our every need. I am particularly impressed with preventative measures they have taken to keep us safe. With many prayers for our safety and the staff care we have had no virus cases. We are very thankful.
Highly recommend
reviewed on: 11/07/2016 by Meryl RachlinMy mom moved into Spring hills just over a year ago. She is turning 91 in overall good health with the exception of mild dementia and the use of a walker due to having had a broken femur about a year before moving in.... She LOVES it at Spring Hill. We are all impressed by the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the building. My mom likes the food a lot and she has gained 30 pounds having gone from a size 8 to petite 14...I don't care...she should enjoy eating at this point in her life. The social activities she engages in mostly and seems to attend all the religious services (shes not religious!) and always has a million books from the library in her room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They don't go on too many interesting trips but I guess they do not get a lot of response to go on them when they are offered by the residents. The rooms are all very bright and cheerful. Overall I am extremely pleased how this has worked out for us. Very nice place with good care and smiling faces. I would recommend!

reviewed on: 11/10/2020 by AnonymousI was particularly impressed with how this facility kept their residents safe during the recent covid-19 pandemic. Some facilities in my state had outbreaks and some residents died. Not only did SHHC keep the residents safe, they kept communication open with the families by holding weekly status called and set up ways for us to Skype with our loved ones when we could not visit.
