Didn't Have Memory Care Unit
reviewed on: 08/29/2017 by AnonymousI didn't tour this community after speaking to the person there they had said they didn't have a memory care unit. In our case, we have a couple and they needed to stay together so we were in need of assisted living and memory care. I ended up not going on the tour since they couldn't accept both, however, the person on the phone was nice and very helpful.
Pleasant good value
reviewed on: 09/22/2020 by AnonymousWe looked at quite a few facilities around the area, The Barrington property itself is very attractive. It is surrounded by a lot of greenery. It is a [pleasant clean and bright facility. It looks like an apartment building rather than a nursing home. The room sizes are spacious here and the value for what you get it good. My favorite part about the community overall has been the proximity. I would recommend. The chef here runs a restaurant, but when is he not there the good food is not consistent.

reviewed on: 04/29/2014 by AnonymousThe follow up from your foundation has been great. I felt opinions from you all were honest and specific. I wish I could remember the women who kept in contact with me. Ultimately my Mom is happy and we were able to get her placed in 1 month. Thank you.
Stunning, Clean Place
reviewed on: 10/05/2021 by Roselyn SI had signed the lease and everything but change my mind to move to a different location. But it's the most beautiful place out of all that I've visited. I saw about 4-5 different complexes. The only reason I moved was because I wanted to be with all of my close friends at a different community. The superintendent at The Barrington is the nicest, kindest person I have ever met. He was equal to or better than the guys that I had working for me back when I used to run an assisted living facility.
This would have been our first choice
reviewed on: 07/27/2017 by AnonymousThe Barrington would have been our 1st choice but it was too far from the skilled nursing care where my mother is. In fact, my father's mother was one of The Barrington's first residences when they first opened their doors so my father was very familiar with the Barrington.
