My Dad
reviewed on: 11/28/2018 by Teri LunsfordWe looked at about 4 other assisted living places and when we walked in here and walked around ....we just knew right then that this is where our Dad needs to be! My dad has been here for about 3 months and he has adjusted wonderfully! Not to mention the wonderful food they have there. SO many people from Springhill has stepped in to help us all get settled with where Dad is now. He loves it there and I think he realizes This is where he should be now. I have made some friends myself! Absolutely everyone tries to help and are very caring. Also it always smells so good and is so clean. Just SO happy that my Dad is there!!
Comfort for dad!!
reviewed on: 07/22/2017 by AnonymousMy father is adjusting well since his move to Spring Hills, he loves it and they are very on top of thing there. They have good meals and he is enjoying the activities. We have eaten there and there is a large variety and everyone I have encountered is always very nice and friendly. The aide that was with my father would send us pictures of him. They have the computer set up so that we can see what he is joining. The room is very nice. It is a much brighter atmosphere. It makes it more pleasant. We like that they have different levels of care and it is a flat fee.
Better Than What We Had Previously
reviewed on: 05/07/2019 by DavesdadSpring Hills is much better than my mom's prior care facility. The smaller size enables the entire staff, but particularly the management to be more in tune with her needs and to genuinely try to address them. They seem much more stable, consistent, sincere, and honest than what we experienced previously. They could do a little more regarding personalization of meal choices and drawing my mom into activities, but overall I've seen improvements in her physical and emotional health since she moved there 3 months ago. I would definitely and strongly recommend Spring Hills for someone who is not quite mentally independent, but not in need of constant or "traditional" nursing care.
Amazing Facility and Team
reviewed on: 09/26/2016 by P. BuchananI can't say enough about my family's experience with Spring Hills Lake Mary. Every individual person was simply amazing at what they did. Sales, nursing, concierge, patient care, housekeeping, activities, food services, all of them were 100% about Mom's quality of life and care. They were extremely accommodating with her special needs and went out of their way to make the transition easy on her and us. I would highly recommend this facility with the current team. They have this figured out.
so far 3 out of 5 stars
reviewed on: 08/27/2016 by lindaThe staff has been very welcoming but it has taken some intervention by our family to get my parents into the correct activities. The food is adequate but definitely not gourmet as advertised. It has only been 2 weeks since my parents moved into their apartment - which they do like - so the jury is still out on the final opinion
