Community Reviews
My extended family
reviewed on: 11/15/2013 by Ginnie TalleySince the only family member I have is my older sister-in-law, the employees and other residents have become my extended family. I love keeping busy and there is always something to do. I volunteer for everything that I can. I eat and play with "family members" all day. I would never want to live anywhere else.
Best decision we ever made
reviewed on: 10/08/2020 by Michele GibsonWe are so happy we moved mom to this Community. It has been the best decision we ever made. The care they have given mom. Is just wonderful. The staff is so loving and care about every single resident and their families as well. The meals are just great! The Chef takes the time to meet all the new residents. My mom has so many activities to choose from there is something for her to do 7 days a week. I have never seen a community have so much live entertainment. We are there almost every single day. all the staff know my mom's name and is very welcoming to her whole family. On behave of all my siblings we can not thank you enough for the care you have given mom. We appreciate you guys so much.

Life Guidance Experience
reviewed on: 11/14/2017 by James StoddardUnfortunately, the experience we had in the Life Guidance Unit was a negative one. Most of the staff was wonderful, but the unit supervisor was dishonest and told our relative that she needed to be more independent. As a result, our family member fell more than 4 times and was asked to leave the facility. We questioned the level of care that would be provided before our family member even became a resident. We were told that her level of care would be handled with no problem. There was never any contact once our relative was transported to the hospital, then to the rehab/long-term care facility. To this day, we still have not heard from anyone at Atria. It saddens us to feel that she was just a number, and she really wasn't important once she was no longer at their facility.
