Lovely Place but Mom wasn’t ready yet...
reviewed on: 03/12/2019 by Susan Dye for my Mom -Donna FeathersMy Mother arrived about 10 days before Xmas after selling her home of 20 years. She was scheduled for a 30 day Respite visit but they offered a better deal to go ahead & sign on as a regular resident with her household stuff following her there in late Jan after I returned from my trip. Since many residents go w their families during the holidays, staff levels throughout the facility were lower than usual. There are less activities offered & there is a slimmer staff in the Dining Room as well. It took awhile to get them to hook-up her tv (which you are required to provide for yourself) & ensure it was working properly. That meant many quiet evenings when she was lonely & bored with nothing to do. They did introduce her to other new arrivals & she did make one good friend there. Overall, she thought the place was nice but felt she was not ready for God’s Waiting Room & ended up moving back in with me...
Nice area
reviewed on: 11/17/2017 by AnonymousWhile looking at different facilities for my loved one, this community had the nicest area outside. They had nice staff. However, depending on how much care your loved one may need it could be a bit pricey. While deciding for a place, it just didn’t seem like a right fit.
My review of Allegro (Allegro Management Company)
reviewed on: 07/08/2021 by Michael MOur family had an in person tour with Allegro and it was very nice and a very well established community. It was the closest community to us out of all the places looked at, but the value for cost was much higher then we wanted. We were worried if our loved one moved in there, they would run out of money to quick
Very Knowledgeable Lady
reviewed on: 09/23/2013 by SharonMy former mother-in-law like that one. It was one of her top three choices. The lady there was extremely knowledgeable but it just didn't feel quite like home to her. It was a little further away too.
Beautiful and Pricey
reviewed on: 12/10/2013 by DaughterVery, very pricey. Beautiful inside, but with the price that they charge it better be beautiful. I think it was $4800 a month. We weren't really impressed, I didn't see any of the elderly residents walking the hallways or saying hello, it was like they were all stuck in their rooms. We were looking for just for assisted living at the time, so they could have been walking around.
