The staff was great and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the community. The only reason why we did not pick here is because my loved one is hard of seeing and there hallways were to narrow.

reviewed on: 06/29/2017 by AnonymousThe move in for my mother-in-law is going well. There has been no complaints from us. She likes the meals and trying some of the activities and getting a chance to meet the people. The staff are keeping me updated with any changes and who she is doing.
The Orchards At Southington
reviewed on: 07/08/2020 by BillWe thought the community was extremely clean and the activities were well organized. They had outings for the residents like off-community lunches and we thought they were very well done. The staff were all very friendly and the meals were great. We had absolutely no complaints about our experience with The Orchards At Southington. They had many locations where people could sit and read and play games, get together with friends, and have space to be social within the community. Overall, very pleasant.
Good Meals and Lots of Activities
reviewed on: 12/02/2013 by DaughterDad has a standard studio there. It's the smallest room you can get and everything is extra - cable TV is extra. There are a lot of things that I think should probably be included considering the cost of rent. Meals are included and dad says the meals are great. They seem to offer quite a few activities. My dad has been kind of stuck in his room and not been able to participate in them but it seems like there is quite a bit offered. The Orchards was in a good location for our family and their community fee was significantly lower than some other places so that's another reason we chose them.
