Community Reviews
A good experience
reviewed on: 06/26/2020 by DebiI think it is a wonderful caring community yet I would check on your loved ones frequently. The residents were engaged in activities. My was always clean, it never had an odor there, and the staff were always friendly. The only thing that was disheartened to me was that after my mother passed away, we went to move hers things and a lot of her clothes were missing.
Peace of Mind is Back
reviewed on: 01/09/2019 by Carolyn VincentThis is a loving environment that doesn't smell like a hospital. Knowledgeable staff and homey atmosphere relieves the stress with patients transitioning into their new environment. They provide great support to families as well, in counseling them on what to expect with impaired awareness brought on by dementia. It's a difficult situation when you feel that you aren't doing enough for your parent while you are burning yourself out, both mentally and physically. This a disservice to your loved one. Acknowledging what's best isn't easy and this facility let's you see how evidence based quality practice is beneficial to patient as well as their families.
Not Quite Right for Our Needs
reviewed on: 09/12/2013 by RobinI thought it was okay. We had pretty much decided on another place when I went to see Marymount. It was a little more expensive but that wasn't the issue. My father-in-law needs more full time care and this place struck me as one more geared to people who could get around and just needed help with meds and things but were more independent than my father-in-law. It's just didn't fit our role.
