Things Have Improved
reviewed on: 08/29/2017 by smI am hoping that since the community has recently been sold and the management has changed hands that things will continue to improve which they have already started. My husband along with the care the facility provides is also under a hospice care and that seems to be going well he has improved to the point where he is participating in more activities and being a little more social. The staff is friendly and open to feedback. In the beginning, I had my concerns but now that the issues I had are being resolved and things continue to improve I seemed to have relaxed a little more and they are building my confidence back up again about the quality of care they will provide.
Lovely Place For Mom
reviewed on: 02/03/2017 by Melanie MartinI would have given all 5 Stars except the facility needs to be updated ie, carpets, bathrooms, windows (single pane?). I believe they are in the process of updating the facility, but unsure when/how it will take place with residents there.. Also, there should be better security measures for who enters the facility. No one is monitoring the front door - anyone can walk in. Love the staff - very caring and helpful.. Meals are healthy and well-prepared. Medication distribution is meticulous - as it should be. Administration keeps us well-informed of any issues. Like the fact that we had the option of a shared room or private room. This is not a "hospital-feel" facility that you encounter often when you enter an Assisted Living Facility. Feel fortunate that we found Hospitality House when we did and they worked with us to get her in within a short period of time.
nice place
reviewed on: 07/19/2017 by AnonymousWe like that this is a very clean community and they offer laundry service. The memory care staff are professional, extremely caring , know what they are doing and take good care of my loved one. The food is pretty good. They try to keep the residents active. This is an affordable community and I would recommend it.

94 yr old mom with Alzheimer dementia doing are best to coupe with placement
reviewed on: 04/14/2016 by ESpiMy mom has only been there for 3 weeks so I will do my best to grade. I feel the staff and caregivers are very friendly. The only reason I give 4 on caregivers is because I feel they are understaffed..The caregivers are very capable and friendly I just feel they are to busy to watch everyone..the living room area should always have someone there and sometimes residents are alone for 5-10 minutes Because caregivers are busy taking care of the residents especially after meal times. There needs to be better communication between shift changes. They informed me that they are currently looking for more stuff. All in all its a good starting place for me and my family it is just a hard decision for any family and they do listen to what you have to say and seem to care and I have a lot to say. My mom has Alzheimer's dementia and is a very difficult resident and they seem to care about her we are all working together for what is best for her. It hasn't been any easy transition for my mom she is in the memory care section which only has 16 residents. She shares a room
