Wonderful Experience!!
reviewed on: 08/14/2015 by Pam HurdI was so glad to know that there were some other alternatives for what I was looking for. The lady at A Place For Mom was extremely nice and helpful. She was caring, too, which is important when one is having to make these decisions in talking about their loved ones. I really appreciated her passion to help me find the best place for my mom!
Quality care but staffing is a concern.
reviewed on: 03/27/2017 by AnonymousThe place is a good fit for my sister and her husband. Sometimes I wonder how much help they have on. Most of the time it's good but I'm concerned if their care needs change the staff will have the time and attention to give them. They are very good about making sure things are clean. Both of my loved ones have incontinence and they make sure to change them if they are soiled. Overall they do a pretty good job at Copper Place. One of the reasons we chose Copper Place is we liked how spacious the hallway is from the room to the restroom. My brother-in-law uses a wheelchair and needs accessibility.
Dad's personality has "blossomed" at Copper Place....
reviewed on: 10/21/2021 by JanMy 98-year-old dad has resided at Copper Place Assisted Living Center for 2 years. We've been blessed with his daily care and support as well as Copper Place's links with local hospice organizations for residents with chronic, debilitating conditions. His care has been exceptional! Like many seniors, Dad was initially reluctant to leave his own home. We were assured that with all of the activities, he'd transition mentally / emotionally in about 6 weeks, and he did so, "right on schedule." The daily socialization and attention he receives from all of the staff have truly worked miracles, and he's said more than once how he considers Copper Place his home. He loves the meals (prepared on site) and his ability to choose from the daily menu. He also appreciates the communion services available each Sunday. After so long in isolation in his own home, his personality has "blossomed" with the care and attention that he receives each day at Copper Place, and we are grateful!
clean place, friendly staff
reviewed on: 11/22/2014 by AnonymousThe facility at Copper Place is very clean, and the staff there is very friendly. According to the care plan that was initially set up, things were not really done the way we had planned. We got it taken care of, but they did not provide the care we were expecting at the start, which was likely more due to communication issues than anything else.
