Trading pretty for quality care
reviewed on: 09/29/2016 by James HawkesSince moving my father from another assisted living facility right down the road that was much nicer in appearance, I have found that care for the residents rather than nice buildings and fireplaces is more what he needed. Moving after 2 yrs from a place that cares more for appearance and profit line with excessive turnover in care takers, It is refreshing to hear my father tell me how much better he is treated and most important, the food is much better. I thank Jackie and Lois for all their efforts and hard work at Springs of Lady lake. If you are tired paying for pretty and want quality care, check them out. Sometimes older buildings are more like home to older folks.
My opinion
reviewed on: 06/08/2017 by AnonymousI thought this community looked nice when I visited. The people I met were friendly. This community does offer a few nice amenities, transportation and pets are allowed. I just did not get the same comfortable feeling as I did at the community we chose.
Above and Beyond
reviewed on: 11/16/2021 by Justine PI am the POA for my elderly aunt with dementia, and I live in Ohio. While it has been difficult living so far from my aunt, she has received excellent care. The nurses, therapists, receptionists, as well as the administrators have all gone above and beyond to provide a family away from home for my aunt. I was often encouraged as the staff listened, problem solved and offered their best counsel. Its an honor to call the Springs home for my Aunt [name removed].
A Work In Progress
reviewed on: 08/19/2016 by AnonymousMy uncle seems to be doing okay here at this community. It is still a work in progress for us here. Overall so far we feel he is in a good community, we are still working out somethings with the staff. I'am hoping his receiving good care here at this community. Overall it is still a work in progress.
A larger place...
reviewed on: 05/20/2017 by AnonymousWhen I was looking for a community to move my mother into, I toured The Springs of Lady Lake. The facility was nice, it was clean and in good shape. The person that took me around friendly in helpful, bit it was too large. I wanted a smaller more intimate place.
