Oak Lane is a great place
reviewed on: 11/11/2018 by ChristieOur Mom lives at Oak Lane and loves it. All the employees are great, caring, helpful and just all around great. She is very well cared for. The facility is well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone needing to place someone they love.
This community was OK
reviewed on: 11/15/2017 by AnonymousMy father-in-law was here for about 3 weeks and there is room for improvement. He was on the independant living side. We felt he was safer to be there than at home. The food was OK he was at the point where he wasn't eating and just had them bring him the food and there was an extra charge for that to happen. The day he passed my daughter was there and she pulled the cord for help and no one came so she went looking for help. I would recommend this place to friends or family.
Good so far
reviewed on: 08/25/2017 by AnonymousMy father in law has only recently moved into Oak Lane community and he is still getting acclimated. The atmosphere is warm and homey and the staff is very welcoming when we come and visit. The staff is friendly and caring and attentive to his care needs. The meals that they provide are good. There are plenty of activities that the staff encourages the residents to participate. So far he has not been inclined to participate in many of them. They have decks on the upper level and patios on the ground level so that the residents can get out and enjoy the fresh air. This was a good fit and affordable for our budget.
The activites director is upbeat and personable!!
reviewed on: 09/02/2016 by AnonymousWe have great communication with the staff at Oaklane. They call it a family and that is exactly what it feels like. They talk to each other and are open to talking. They are pet friendly and this is good for my mom. They offer numerous activities such as tea parties, arts and crafts and sit and fit 3 times a week. The food is a low salt diet that looks to be prepared fresh and there are a variety of choices. They listen to me and take my suggestions.
They Were Too Small For People
reviewed on: 07/11/2017 by AnonymousNothing was wrong when we toured this community. All that we saw was pretty nice. My parents however, did not want to be in a small apartment. They felt they would be confined and there was not enough space for two residents living together.
